If you're familiar with SharePoint, you know its one-size-fits-all templates aren't exactly made for brand customization. So when Acorn asked me to design their "New Hires" and "The Grove" sites, I basically had two options:

1 ) buy an expensive third-party template and saddle the company with a yearly subscription fee, or...

​

2 ) figure out how to bend the built-in templates to my will, make them user-friendly so Acorn could do their own updates, and save the company big $$$.
